BEDFORD – A business leader and community volunteer is running in Bedford South for the PC Party of Nova Scotia in the next provincial general election.
Damian Stoilov was recently nominated as the PC candidate in the constituency.
“Bedford South is a high growth, dynamic constituency that deserves a voice in government who can deliver results,” said Stoilov. “Premier Tim Houston and his PC Team have accomplished a lot fixing what previous Liberal and NDP governments broke. With the Houston government continuing to build up Nova Scotia, as the next MLA for Bedford South, I will make sure that our needs as a constituency are at the table where decisions get made.”
A resident of Bedford for nearly 20 years, Stoilov and his wife raised their four children into adulthood in the community they have called home. As a longtime community volunteer and coach in youth sports, Stoilov understands the concerns facing Bedford South. His private sector experience includes many years in the health and wellness sector.
“Damian Stoilov is focused, persistent and cares about helping his community – exactly the kind of qualities I want in an MLA as part of my team in government,” said Premier Tim Houston. “I hope the people of Bedford South give Damian Stoilov the opportunity to get things done to improve the constituency as their next MLA.”
Premier Tim Houston’s PC Team has delivered record investments in health care, housing and infrastructure. The Houston PCs also provided tax relief, while at the same time fighting against the Liberal carbon tax.
